Former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister and Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) supremo Mayawati today threatened to renounce Hinduism if there is no change in the perception of BJP and RSS towards Dalit community and its leaders.
Mayawati said that if the change in thinking does not materialise in these organisations then she would renounce Hinduism and convert to Buddhism along with her supporters who have been subjected to discriminations.
“ I would like to warn BJP and RSS that if they continue to look down upon the Dali community and its leaders then I will renounce Hinduism and convert to Buddhism along with my supporters,” Mayawati said.
