New Delhi: Controversial Pro-Hindutva leader Sadhvi Prachi has announced a reward of Rs 50 lakh to any person who will behead Islamic preacher and televangelist Zakir Naik.

“I have announced the reward because Zakir Naik is not a religious preacher, but a terrorist,” Prachi told mediapersons at Roorkee in Uttarakhand.

She said that the government should probe the terror links of all “such preachers working in madrasas” across the country.

VHP has already distanced itself from her remarks saying whatever she  has said are her personal views.

Prachi's announcement comes a day after a Shia group, identifying itself as Hussaini Tigers, offered Rs 15 lakh bounty on Naik’s head.

Zakir Naik is in the eye of a storm after investigation agencies found two of the terrorists killed in the Dhaka terror attack had been influenced by the Mumbai-based Islamic preacher.

Known for courting controversies, Sadhvi Prachi had claimed the mission of a Congress-free country has already been "accomplished" and it is now time to make India free of Muslims.

"Now that we have achieved the mission of making a Congress-free India, it is time to make India Muslim-free. We are working on that," she said in Roorkee, where at least 32 people were injured in a clash between two communities over forcible evacuation of a scrap dealer's shop on June 7.

She became a near-household name after she called for the boycotting of the Khans — Aamir, Salman and Shah Rukh — while suggesting that their films were spreading a culture of violence and advised youngsters not to idolise them. Prachi went ahead and urged the Bajrangis to tear posters of Khans' films and "burn them in the fire of Holi".

Earlier, she also voiced her views on 'love jihad' (a phenomenon where men want to desperately defend women's honour by not letting them choose their mates).

She advised youngsters not to idolise them saying “their films were spreading a culture of violence”.

Sadhvi went ahead and urged people to make Aamir’s upcoming film 'Dangal' a flop.

In August last year, she had courted controversy with her remark that there were terrorists in the Parliament. "It is a big misfortune that in the Indian Parliament, we have one-two terrorists sitting there," she had said.

Before this, Sadhvi had announced rewards for all Hindu women who give birth to more than four children.
