New Delhi: After describing Baba Ramdev an industrialist and a capitalist, RJD chief Lalu Prasadv Yadav now appears to have become an ardent fan of the yoga guru.
The former Bihar CM today invited Ramdev at his residence in national capital for a yoga session which soon turned into an endorsement spot for Patanjali products.
Endorsing Ramdev’s products, Yadav said that the yoga guru is doing good work for the country and that ‘people are jealous of Baba because he is highly successful’.
“Whatever Ramdev earns, he spends it on charity. He has earned everything through sheer hard work,” the former Bihar CM who invited Ramdev for a yoga session said.
He also described as a conspiracy the reports of powdered bone in products sold by Ramdev's brand.
When asked whether he will directly promote Ramdev's products, Lalu said, ''I am a permanent brand ambassador of his products.''
Ramdev also gifted Patanjali products to the RJD chief and to add a personal touch to the meeting, he even applied cream on Yadav's face. “It will add beauty to your face. We make Ayurvedic products, foreign companies use chemicals,” he said.
The yoga guru further said that he had come to invite Yadav to attend International Yoga Day celebrations on June 21.
