At the wedding, Jemima wore a pale blue silk salwar kameez that was delicately embroidered. She looked perfectly serene and at the same time gorgeous in the attire.

They once again married at the Richmond Register office on 21st June, 1995. Here Jemima wore a long white dress and embroidered jacket while Imran wore a traditional salwar kameez.

Jemima was a Jew by birth. After meeting Imran, she was intrigued by Islam.  She read Muhamad Asad and Charle le gai – Eaton and was influenced by them.

 She then converted to Islam through her own convictions. But merely converting to Islam was not a solution.

She had to ensure that the religion becomes a part of her life. Her dress code, her mannerisms, lifestyle, eating habits, etc had to be in conformity to the religion. Jemima had not thought about all those aspects.
