He focused on giving the country a better infrastructure and digital telecommunication. Sharif also believed in privatization of government-run institutions like banks etc.

Married to Begum Kalsoom Nawaz, Sharif has three kids, two sons Hassan and Hussain Nawaz and one daughter Maryam Nawaz.
