It's fair to say that Mitt Romney is prone to gaffes. Most recently he suffered a particularly gaffe-strewn trip to Britain, during which he drew headlines of "Mitt-the-twit" after he made several critical remarks concerning the Olympics.
Earlier this year said he caused controversy at home too when he said he was "not concerned about the very poor" suggesting that he would focus his efforts on the middle class.
