"I call upon all those at the Expo 2020 Dubai to visit the India Pavilion for a glimpse of India and to come to our nation to explore the countless avenues of economic and cultural cooperation," the Prime Minister wrote on Twitter.

Underlining the strong support shown by India and the UAE for each other during the pandemic, Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal on Friday said both the countries have shared interest and they are not in competition.

"UAE and India have shared interest. We are not in competition, we complement each other. UAE investors and its leaders are very positive about doing business and expanding trade with India," said Goyal at Dubai Expo 2020. Goyal will be inaugurating the India Pavilion on October 1 at Dubai Expo 2020.

Goyal further added that both countries have demonstrated the highest level of friendship during the COVID-19 pandemic. "We have supported UAE, wherever we could. They have supported India. This is what I call brotherhood, which will be remembered for many years."

Coinciding with India's celebrations of Amrit Mahotsav, 75 years of Independence, Dubai Expo 2020 will be a significant platform for India to showcase its vibrant culture and tremendous growth opportunities for the next six months, said a Government of India statement.

"India is participating with one of the largest pavillion in this Expo. I am sure that this Expo will go a long way in further building our deep and historical relations with UAE and Dubai," PM Narendra Modi siad at the launch of the India Pavilion at Dubai Expo 2020

Among the 192 participating countries, India will have the biggest pavilion in the expo. Fifteen states and nine central ministries from India are participating in this six-month-long expo, which will be ending on March 31, 2022.
