Stunning transition: Aishwarya Rai!

The ocean eyed actress Aishwariya Rai has turned 39 today and this year's Birthday is gonna be a special one for the lady as it will be celebrated with the newly added family member Aaradhya

Once, Ash went to a grocery shop alongwith her mother. She was tapped on her shoulder by none other than, yesteryear actress Rekha. Rekha recognised Ash from her modeling ads. She complimented the young Aishwarya on her good looks and wished her all the best. It was a coincidence that Aishwarya later did an Umrao Jaan role with her hubby Abhishek Bachchan.

Ash met with an accident in the year 2003, while shooting for the flick Khakee'. She had fractured her leg there.

While shooting for Mani Ratnam's Guru she proposed Abhishek Bachchan for marriage and soon after the film's release, the two got married.

Bollywood actress Preity Zinta is the only friend of Aishwarya among others in the industry. But the fact is, the two never co starred in any flick together.

Amongst numerous costumes the actress loves Indian traditional outfit, sari. No doubt she looks so hot in those costumes as is already witnessed in numerous flicks, particularly in Devdas.

Aishwariya doesn't like to wear wigs while shooting. Why would she Since, she has so silky hair which also has endorsement value for a reputed shampoo brand.

The secret of her beauty is that she consumes lesser food. Aishwariya loves reading books on history whenever she gets time. After her lunch, she usually has the habit of nibbling at fruits.

When Aishwariya won the Miss World pageant, she was asked for a date by the host of the event. But the lady refused the offer. That's like a traditional Bharatiya' lady.
