Women's T20 World Cup Final: Australian dominance continues as hosts beat India to lift fifth title

Australia cruised to their fifth women's T20 World Cup title, beating India by 85 runs.

Electing to bat first, Australia put on 184/4, courtesy brilliant innings from Alyssa Healy (74) and Beth Mooney (78*).

India received a huge setback when Shafali Verma was dismissed on 2.

Indian hopes ended after Jemimah Rodrigues, Smriti Mandhana and Harmanpreet Kaur all departed in quick succession.

This was Australia's fifth T20 World Cup title.
