2019 World Cup: The two arch-rivals faced each other in the 2019 World Cup. Rohit Sharma's special ton powered India to a massive 337 in a rain-hit game. Pakistan were asked to chase 302 in 40 overs but managed to get 212.

2021 T20 World Cup: Pakistan took their decades-old revenge of never being able to beat India in World Cups in 2021. Despite Virat Kohli's valiant effort, Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan propelled Pakistan to a 10-wicket win in the T20 World Cup 2021.

2022 Asia Cup Group match: The next meeting came in the T20 Asia Cup Group stage. India were asked to chase 148 and lost KL Rahul early. Even Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli went back quickly and India were in trouble. But the stand between Ravindra Jadeja and Suryakumar Yadav and a special finish from Hardik Pandya took India over the finishing line.

2022 Asia Cup Super Four: India and Pakistan met each other a week later. India batted first and on the back of Virat Kohli, the Men in Blue scored 181. Pakistan suffered blows in reply but Mohammad Nawaz's special knock and some help down the order took Pakistan to the victory line.

2022 T20 World Cup: Coming off from a 10-wicket drubbing in the 2021 T20 World Cup, India had a task at their hands in the 2022 tournament. Shan Masood's knock of 52* powered Pakistan to 159. India were in all sorts of and lost four wickets for just 31 runs. That was when Virat Kohli stood tall and played a knock for the ages. His 82 from 53 balls in a heart-stopper clash earned India an unrealistic four-wicket win.
