The ongoing third edition of Women's Premier League (WPL) has got its playoff teams. Delhi Capitals have made it to the final while Mumbai Indians and Gujarat Giants will face each other in the Eliminator. Here are top five run-scorers of the season at the end of the league stage.
Nat Sciver Brunt is the leading run-scorer this season so far. Playing for Mumbai Indians, she has been consistently scoring runs at a fair clip. She has scored 416 runs so far at an impeccable average of 69.33 and a strike rate of 151.82. Sciver-Brunt also smacked 70 fours and two sixes while also notching up four half-centuries.

RCB have not qualified for playoffs but their all-rounder Ellyse Perry plundered run throughout the season. She has scored 372 runs so far at an average of 93 and a strike rate of 148.8 with four fifties to her name. Perry smashed 40 fours and 11 sixes during her stay in the middle.

Shafali Verma of Delhi Capitals has been consistent this season opening the innings for her franchise. She has so far scored 300 runs at an average of 42.86 and a strike rate of 157.89. Her excellent form must have given her a hope of making a return to the Indian team.

Meg Lanning, Shafali's opening partner at Delhi Capitals, is next on this list. She led from the front Delhi scoring 263 runs at an average of 37.57 and a strike rate of 117.94 with 43 fours and a six to her name. She will be hoping to play one more brilliant knock in the final.

Gujarat Giants skipper Ashleigh Gardner is fifth in this list of highest run-scorers this season. She has scored 235 runs at an average of 33.57 and a strike rate of a whopping 163.19, the best among top five run-scorers. She also smashed 17 fours and as many sixes during her stay in the middle.
