India fast bowler Ishant Sharma got engaged on Sunday, joining the list of cricketers to have recently exchanged rings with their lady love. He got engaged to Pratima Singh, a basketball player, in the capital.

The ceremony was a low key affair. Only close friends and family members were invited. None of the celebs, including, Ishant’s team members were present on the occasion.

Pratima Singh, who started playing Basketball in 2003 for Uttar Pradesh, plays for India women's national team. Sharma’s fiancée comes from family that has a legacy to follow-many members play basketball. In fact, Pratima’s three sisters are also members of Indian women’s national basketball team.

After Yuvraj Singh who recently got engaged to Hazel Keech, Ishant has joined the rapidly growing list of Indian cricketers who’ve decided to tie the knot.
