IPL 2020, Match 8: Shubman Gill shines in KKR's 7-wicket win over SRH

Kolkata Knight Riders secured a dominant seven-wicket win against Sunrisers Hyderabad on Saturday.

The KKR bowlers remained on top throughout the match, and Varun Chakravarthy got the big gun as he removed David Warner on 36.

Manish Pandey (51 off 38 balls) led SRH's fightback but his batting partner Wriddhiman Saha's (30 off 31 balls) slow scoring rate cost SRH, as they finished on 142/4.

Khaleel Ahmed gave SRH early breakthrough as he dismissed Sunil Narine on a duck.

However, Shubman Gill (70*) stepped up and saw KKR through to a win, as he built partnerships with Nitish Rana (26) and Eoin Morgan (42*).
