IND vs AUS 4th Test: A look at all the key moments of Day 1 of the 4th Test between India and Australia in Ahmedabad

Usman Khawaja's brilliance- Usman Khawaja was the star of the day as he smashed an unbeaten hundred on Day 1 of India vs Australia's 4th Test in Ahmedabad. He played a masterful knock on a pitch that assisted the batters more on the opening day. He is unbeaten at 104 from 251 balls and has hit the first hundred from the Australian team in the ongoing Border-Gavaskar series.

Aussies off to a solid start- Before this masterful knock, Australia needed a strong start from their openers. After winning the toss, Travis Head and Usman Khawaja gave the visitors a solid 61-run platform before Ashwin found the wicket of Head.

A little piece of joy for India- Amidst some punishment by the Australian batters, India found some joy with Mohammed Shami's two wickets. Khawaja- Green's unbroken stand- When the Indians got four wickets and were looking to make further inroads into the Aussie lineup, Khawaja and Green combined to pile more runs on the Indian side. They joined hands when the team was at 170/4 and carried their bat when Australia were at 255/4.
