Usain Bolt, the legendary Jamaican sprinter, etched his name in history after winning his third consecutive Olympic title in the men's 100 metre event at the Rio Games.
This win is also the first step towards Bolt's target of repeating his 100m, 200m and 4x100m victories at the Beijing 2008 and London 2012 Games.

Born in 1986 in Trelawny, Jamaica, Bolt wanted to become a cricketer. However, his cricket coach, who was impressed with his running speed, advised him to enter track and field.
