Covid protocols go for a toss in election rallies | PICS

Even as the COVID-19 cases continue to surge, election rallies are leading to massive violations of the covid restrictions. With polls round the corner, political bigwigs are leaving no stone unturned to woo voters. Visuals from election rallies in several states show no social distancing, with only a handful wearing masks - a situation that is causing much concern especially in view of the rapid spread of the highly infectious Omicron variant.
