The nation on Friday celebrated the auspicious festival of Dev Deepawali. Like every year, a grand celebration has been organised in Uttar Pradesh's Varanasi. People from all over the country arrived to participate in the popular festival in Kashi. During the evening, all the ghats of Varanasi have been illuminated with lights.

On this occasion of Dev Deepawali, the Ghats of Varanasi have been entirely decorated with diyas, creating a mesmerising scene along the River Ganga. The Namo Ghat of Varanasi has also been decorated with lights attractively.

While the Ghats were decorated with diyas, people also celebrated by bursting firecrackers. The sky above Kashi also got filled with light because of fire crackers adding joy to the celebrations.

A laser show was also organised near the ghats in Varanasi. People were seen enjoying the laser show which increased the fervour of celebration multifold. The laser show on Dev Deepawali in Kashi has become a tourist attraction for the nation.

Special arrangements were also made for Dev Deepawali near Kashi Vishwanath Dham Corridor in Varanasi. Moreover, a crowd of thousands of people was seen on the banks of River Ganga near the main gate of Kashi Vishwanath Dham Corridor.

During the festival, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankar remained present in Kashi. He was accompanied by Governor Anandiben Patel, UP CM Yogi Adityanath, Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri and others.

People also celebrated Dev Deepawali by lighting diyas at the banks of the River Ganga at every corner of the city. People were spotted making holy 'Swastika' using lightened diyas.
