RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav's son Tej Pratap Yadav to get married today; see pics from his haldi ceremony

Former Bihar Chief Minister and RJD supremo's eldest son Tej Pratap Yadav will tie the knot with Aiswarya Rai, daughter of six-time RJD lawmaker Chandrika Rai on Saturday.

Tej Pratap Yadav was elected to the Bihar Legislative Assembly from Mahua constituency in 2015. He was the state minister of health, water resources, environment and forests from November 2015 till July 2017.

The bride, Aiswarya Rai is the granddaughter of former Bihar Chief Minister Daroga Rai and daughter of former minister Chandrika Rai. Aiswarya graduated from Patna's Notre Dame School and received an MBA from AMITY University, Noida.

Celebrations are in full swing at the Yadav's mansion. The high-profile wedding will be attended by many political stalwarts including Congress President Rahul Gandhi and his sister Priyanka Vadra, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav and Samajwadi Party supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav.

Lalu Prasad Yadav, who is facing a 14-year jail term,  has been granted parole for three-days to attend his son's wedding ceremony. The court later granted an additional six weeks provisional bail for medical treatment.
