According to the Met dept there'll be isolated heavy rain in parts of the state over next 24 hours starting Oct 17.
Several NDRF teams have been deployed in view of red alert for rainfall and possible flooding, waterlogging in Kerala.

IMD said that low-pressure area over southeast Arabian Sea and adjoining Kerala has become less marked and there is a possibility of light to moderate rainfall at many places.

Idduki and Kottayam districts in Central and South Kerala bore the brunt of the heavy rains that have been lashing the state since Friday.
As per State's Information and Public Relations Dept, more bodies have been recovered from site of landslide at Koottikkal, Kottayam district, death toll rises to 15.
