A major security lapse forced Prime Minister Narendra Modi's cavalcade to return to Bathinda in Punjab on Wednesday. The Prime Minister was on way to Ferozpur via road when protesters blocked the highway due to which PM Modi was stuck on a flyover for over 20 minutes. The Prime Minister had to address a poll rally and lay the foundation stone of the Delhi-Amritsar-Katra expressway among other developmental projects ahead of assembly elections in the state.
