Its IITs all the way in MHRD’s list of India’s best engineering colleges

  • New Delhi: Engineering has long been known as a lucrative profession, given that you are well-trained and have the requisite skills for the job. No wonder then that India’s reputed engineering colleges are highly sought after and aspirants give it all they have to make the cut in one of these institutions. 

The number of engineer in India has been increasing by several lakhs every year. Now, a new set of rankings introduced by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) officially places these colleges in better perspective for those looking at engineering as a career option. 

A total of 100 colleges have been ranked in the full list based on parameters including Teaching, Learning & Resources (TLR), Research, Professional Practice & Collaborative Performance (RPC), Graduation Outcome (GO), Outreach and Inclusivity (OI) and Perception (PR). 

Here is the list of top 10 engineering colleges in India:
