But if you are planning a train journey then you must book your tickets in advance so that you can easily get a confirmed ticket as the huge crowd of tourists is expected in Pryagraj during the mela.

The distance between Delhi and Prayagraj is approximately 676 km. The journey by road can take about ten and a half hours while the train journey typically lasts around six hours. Vande Bharat Express, a semi-high-speed train, is easily available from Delhi, Kanpur and Varanasi to Prayagraj. This is the fastest train on the route. Vande Bharat departs from Delhi Junction at 6 am and will reach its destination at 12:08 pm. The Vande Bharat Express train has two types of seating accommodation: AC Chair Car and Executive Chair Car. Tickets for the AC Chair Car will be available for Rs 1420 and Rs 2760 for the Executive Chair Car.

Tejas Rajdhani is another suer fast express train to reach your destination on time. One can book the tickets for the Tejas Rajdhani Express for Rs 1715. The train departs from Delhi at 5:10 pm and arrives in Prayagraj at midnight and makes only one stop at Kanpur between Delhi and Prayagraj.

Garib Rath Express departs from Delhi at 4:10 pm and reaches Prayagraj at around 11 pm, completing the journey in 6 hours and 48 minutes. The ticket of this third AC train is Rs 730. This train also stops only at Kanpur.

Haldia Express leaves from Anand Vihar at 8:30 pm and reaches Prayagraj Junction by 4 am. The ticket for this train costs Rs 1000. It travels via Ghaziabad and Kanpur before reaching Prayagraj.

Vikramshila Express departs at 1:15 pm and reaches Prayagraj at 8:43 pm after a journey of seven and a half hours. The train runs from Anand Vihar, and the ticket costs Rs 925.
