Karunanidhi dies at 94: In Pics - Kalaignar's final journey

Former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi breathed his last at a Chennai hospital on Tuesday, August 7, 2018, after a prolonged illness. The 94-year-old leader served as Tamil Nadu CM for five terms. The last rites of Kalaignar, as he was famously known, took place on August 8 at Chennai's famous Marina Beach.
