Rao added, "Today the country is witnessing a phase when BJP has become the strongest party of the country, every other leader wants to join the development-oriented party, we welcome all."

Meanwhile, Congress's Akhilesh Pratap Singh targetting Yogi's government said, "There have been a number of criminal cases in UP in 2017 and BJP says that they have controlled the criminal activities."

He further said, "The people of BJP lie and mislead the country, they say that encounters are fake."

Singh from Congress and Naresh Uttam Patel from SP also questioned the claims made by UP government, during India TV Samvaad in Lucknow.
