Home Minister Amit Shah pays floral tribute at Statue of Unity in Kevadia, on the occasion of  Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel's birth anniversary today. 

On occasion of 75th year of India's Independence, various cultural activities, including- dance held in Kevadia. 

School students participate in the cultural activities during National Unity Day celebration. 

Kevadia is not just the name of a place, it has become a shrine - a shrine of national unity, of patriotism: Amit Shah. 

National Unity Day is celebrated in India on Oct 31. It was introduced by the Central govt in 2014. 

75 cyclists from ITBP, SSB, CISF, CRPF and BSF, who have travelled approx 9,000 km from various parts of India took part in the event.
