Buxa Tiger Reserve (West Bengal): Buxa Tiger Reserve is a tiger reserve and national park is located at the confluence of Gangetic plains and Himalayas. It is home to at least 284 bird species. Asian elephant, gaur, Sambar deer, clouded leopard, Indian leopard, and Asian golden cat are other key attractions in the reserve.

Katarniaghat Wildlife Sanctuary (UP): It is a protected area in the Upper Gangetic Plain in Uttar Pradesh's Bahraich. In 1987, it was brought under the purview of Project Tiger, and together with the Kishanpur Wildlife Sanctuary and the Dudhwa National Park, it forms the Dudhwa Tiger Reserve.

Eaglenest Wildlife Sanctuary (Arunachal Pradesh): It is situated in the Himalayan foothills of West Kameng District. It conjoins the Sessa Orchid Sanctuary to the northeast and the Pakhui Tiger Reserve across the Kameng River to the east. Eaglenest is notable as a birding site due to the vast variety, numbers and accessibility of species.
