It is the highest plunge waterfall in India at a height of 115 feet. The story behind the name of these falls suggest that a woman named Ka Likai jumped to her death after husband killed her daughter and cooked up her remains into a meal. Her suicide gave the waterfall its name Nohkalikai which means ‘Fall of Ka Likai’.
