Pandal hopping in Kolkata: Take virtual tour as city celebrates Durgo Pujo 

The puja was started by Dinanath Dey. A businessman, he started the puja to build good relations with customers and his partners.

Durga Puja Celebration at 115-year-old North 24 Pargana's Bhebia Dey Bari Durga Puja.

Family members from all over the world participated in the family's puja every year. Apart from family members, locals also participated in the Dey bari's Durga Puja.

Considering the Covid-19 pandemic, the Durga Puja is being celebrated following the pandemic guidelines. "Without mask and sanitisers, the family members and locals are not allowed to participate in the puja," said Soumyajit Dey.

According to a family member Soumyajit Dey, "From 1906, Durga Puja is being celebrated in Dey bari with full fervour. Our ancestor Dinanath Dey started the puja, and we are the fifth, sixth generations who are organising puja now."

Another family member Srota Dey said, "Though we lived in Kolkata, but since my childhood, I came here away from Kolkata to participate in the family's Durga Puja. This is the time, when I can met with my family members, brothers and sisters and its much more attractive than the theme based Durga Puja."
