Miss India Adline Castelino announced Miss Universe 2021 runner up: Meet the Indian beauty (IN PICS)

22-year-old Miss India Adeline Castelino made the country proud by making it to the Top 5 at the beauty pageant. Her stunning national costume was designed by Shravan Kumar. She wrote about the saree in her Instagram post and it read, "My National Costume embodies the true essence of a woman.

The Saree is a traditional attire binds the whole country together. Yardage of priceless legacy, The Saree is known to have eighty different styles of draping. It does not judge of class or caste, worn by most Indian women even today."

During the final Question and Answer round, the beauty queen was asked "Should countries lockdown due to COVID-19 despite the strain on their economies, or should they open their borders and risk a potential increase in infection rates?" Adline has undoubtedly set an example for many with her social mission, and we are just so in awe of this gorgeous lady.

For all those looking out for details of the lady, she was born in 1998 in Kuwait city and later shifted to Mumbai at the age of 15 for studies and work. Her Manglorean Catholic parents hail from Udyavara in Udupi, Karnataka.

Adline completed her secondary education from St Xavier's and graduated from Mumbai's Wilson College of business administration.

She works for the well-being of the farmers through a welfare organization called Vikas Sahayog Pratishthan (VSP). Not only this but she even spreads awareness about the acceptance of the LGBT community. 

In the 2020 COVID lockdown, Adline provided essential items like food supplies, sanitisers and face masks to a non-profit voluntary organization called Desire Society which takes care of the HIV-infected children in India.

Adline did her pageant training through the Cocoaberry Training Academy, Mumbai and was later crowned Miss Cocoaberry Diva.

Ever since her victory, Adline has been receiving praises from people all over the world. The internet is filled with sweet posts who are praising her and calling her beauty with brains.
