Kareena, Ranbir, Shilpa: Celebs who walked the ramp at Lakme Fashion Week 2016

The coveted Lakme Fashion Week Festive Winter 2016 hosted its grand finale on Sunday in Mumbai. A total of 92 designers displayed their recent collections at the five day event which was held at St. Regis Hotel. The list of designers features various established as well as emerging names from the fashion industry. Adding glamour to the event were the several B-town celebs who turned muse for these designers. From Karisma Kapoor to Ranbir Kapoor and from Sushant Singh Rajput to Bipasha Basu, various Bollywood celebrities walked the ramp during the Lakme Fashion Week. Here’s the list-

Actress Bipasha Basu turned muse for designer Sanjukta Dutta. The Bengali beauty looked ravishing in her pink and white silk saree with Assamese print. Bipasha completed her look with a bindi and a nath.

Karisma Kapoor was also spotted walking the ramp for Archita Narayanam. She looked like a princess in her stunning red gown.

Ranbir walked the ramp effortlessly in a specially crafted Kunal Rawal design and he looked dapper.

Emraan Hashmi’s six year old son Ayaan makes his debut at Lakme Fashion week. The father son duo walked the ramp for International clothing brand Diesel.

Soon to be mommy Kareena Kapoor Khan made the heads turn as she walked the ramp flaunting her baby bump for Sabyasachi Mukherjee. She resplendent as she wore an exquisite grey, heavily embellished lehenga and kurti. Her kurti was heavily embellished in gold threadwork in an intricate Mughal-inspired pattern that was beautifully offset by the sheer lehenga with starry, glinting golden polkas peeking through, and a matching dhupatta.

Dia Mirza looks enthralling in the black kanjivaram sari by Designer Santosh Parekh. She completed her look with a mogra laden hairdo, the brocade blouse and the diamond jewellery.

Designer Anushree Reddy presented her ‘The Wedding Chronicle’ with Shilpa Shetty as her show stopper. Shilpa looked ethereal as she walked down the ramp in a ravishing red zardosi lehenga and golden embroidered choli with tassels completed with a matching ornate dupatta.

Mohenjo Daro actress Pooja Hegde walked the ramp for Jade by Monica and Karishma. Pooja wore a stunning blue outfit with silver polka dots.

Ileana turned showstopper for designer Ridhi Mehra's collection "Arcadia" at the ongoing Lakme Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2016.

Riteish Deshmukh and Malaika Arora turned muse for designers Shantanu and Nikhil collection that was romantically titled "The Matador's Mistress".
