Zohra Sehgal Death Anniversary: Unseen photos of the firebrand actress

Bollywood's favorite dadi Zohra Sehgal started her career as a member of a contemporary dance troupe and transitioned into acting later. The gorgeous actress filled the scene with elegance as she appeared on the screen each time.

Zohra Sehgal was 102 when she passed away 10th July 2014. Her daughter shares that even during her last days, she was full of life.

Zohra Sehgal's daughter Kiran Sehgal, famous Odissi danseuse, had shared that the actress would often scream "Tum toh gavaaron ki tarah kapde pehenti ho, look at me I dress up in a sufiana way."

Kiran recalled, "I remember seeing her in one of the Prithvi Theatre productions playing a maid-servant when I was very young. I kept crying throughout the performance because I thought Maa had actually become a maid."

Not just Bollywood films, Zohra Sehgal has done several British films and television shows in her life. Her popular films include Neecha Nagar, Afsar, Bhaji on the Beach, The Mystic Masseur, Bend It Like Beckham, Dil Se.., Saaya, Saawariya and Cheeni Kum.

Zohra Sehgal's daughter had shared that the actress always wanted to be remembered as a symbol of strength and care.
