Speaking about her bond with the man of her life, Erica said, "It's been over three years now. We are very good friends. We speak about all kinds of nonsense..he doesn't like watching me romance any other guy on screen."

The actress revealed that rumors of an affair with co-stars Shaheer Sheikh and Parth Samthaan forced her to publicly speak about her relationship status.

A few days back Erica shared a romantic post on social media that read, "When I’m with you, i act different, in a good way of course. I always smile more, i always laugh more. With you I can drop the fake smile (if any) and put on a real one. I don’t feel hurt or alone when I’m with you instead i feel safe and loved. You’re easy to talk to and you listen to me. She is these days seen playing the lead role of Prerna opposite Parth in Ekta Kapoor's hit show Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2. The makers have now resumed the shoot after months of being in lockdown. 

Talking about the current story track, after 8 years of leap differences have grown between Anurag and Prerna who now hates the man she once loved and is seeking revenge.

There are also reports claiming that actor Karan Patel will now be seen playing the role of Mr. Rishab Bajaj in the show. Before him, it was Karan Singh Grover who impressed everyone with his salt and pepper look.
