Sushmita Sen broke all the barriers of the society when she decided to become a single unmarried mother and that too by adopting not only one but two daughters. She adopted Renee, her first daughter after a long legal tussle. After that, she adopted another baby girl Alisah. However, recently it is also being speculated that she has adopted a baby boy after the actress was papped with him.

Mandira Bedi and her late husband Raj Kaushal adopted their daughter Tara on July 28, 2020. While the couple became parents to son Vir on June 17, 2011 and they wanted to adopt a girl. 

Sunny Leone and Daniel Weber were being lauded by many from the film fraternity for breaking the stereotypes after they adopted little Nisha, from an orphanage in 2016. Later, the couple also welcomed twin boys, Noah and Asher through surrogacy. Well, they are now a happy family of five.
