Shahid Kapoor has set his mark in the film industry with his extraordinary acting and dancing skills. But very few of us know that he was initially a background dancer. Shahid, who is a trained dancer had performed as a background dancer in films like Dil To Pagal Hai and Taal.
Earlier, Sushant sharing his experience ahead of his performance in IIFA last year said, ''I'm really excited to be a part of IIFA this year and I will be performing at the IIFA awards for the first time. Not exactly the first time... I have been a background dancer at IIFA for many years."
Kajal Aggarwal, who rose to fame with Telugu and Tamil films, was also a background dancer. Kajal was a background dancer in Aishwarya Rai starrer Kyun Ho Gaya Na.
Remo D'Souza, who is a professional choreographer and has choreographed number of hit tracks, used to be a background dancer earlier. He was a background dancer in a song titled Meri Mehbooba from Shah Rukh Khan’s film movie, Pardes.
Actress Dia Mirza also started her Bollywood career as a background dancer. She was a background dancer in a Tamil song from the film En Swasa Kaatre.
