There are many celebrities in the Bollywood industry who have turned politicians. While Sunny Deol and Urmila Matondkar are the latest celebs to join in the bandwagon, here's a look at all the Bollywood stars who have joined politics.

Sunny Deol has joined BJP and speculations are rife that the Gaddar actor may be fielded from Gurdaspur or Chandigarh in the ongoing Lok Sabha elections.

Urmila Matondkar has joined Congress party and, she will be contesting the Lok Sabha election from the Mumbai North Lok Sabha constituency.

Veteran actress Kirron Kher is a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party. In May 2014, she was elected to the Lok Sabha, from Chandigarh.

Veteran actress Jaya Bachchan is currently the Member of Parliament in Rajya Sabha from the Samajwadi Party, notably serving four terms since 2004.

Shatrughan Sinha became a member of the Indian National Congress in presence of Congress general secretary KC Venugopal and Randeep Surjewala on 6 April 2019.
