Sanju: Ranbir Kapoor and Rajkumar Hirani attend teaser launch, see pics

The first look and teaser of Sanjay Dutt's much-awaited biopic is finally out and the Rajkumar Hirani-directed movie, featuring Ranbir Kapoor in the lead role, is titled Sanju.

The first poster of the film was launched earlier today featuring Ranbir in the five iconic looks of Dutt from different phases of his life, starting from "Rocky" and going on to the time he was released from Yerwada Central Jail in 2016, after serving a five-year sentence in the 1993 Mumbai serial bomb blasts case. 

Ranbir Kapoor, who will be seen stepping into Sanjay Dutt's shoes in his biopic titled Sanju was seen all excited during the teaser launch.  

During the teaser launch  Ranbir said, “I was always a Sanjay Dutt fan. So for me, it was like a fan trying to play his icon on-screen. The hardest thing was to give confidence to myself that I can play this man... I did not have the confidence, the courage, understanding or the acting chops to do it.”

Filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani was also present during the teaser launch of Sanju.
