Saira Banu carries Dilip Kumar's portrait in first public appearance after veteran actor's death

Veteran actress Saira Banu was seen making a public appearance months after the death of actor Dilip Kumar. She was seen carrying a large portrait of the actor with her. 

Saira was seen dressed in a simple light pink salwar-kameez. She covered her head with a dupatta. Accompanying her were some others, one of whom held Dilip Kumar's picture. 

As the paparazzi spotted the veteran actress, they requested her to pose with the portrait. Obliging, Saira and the others posed for fans. 

Bollywood actress of yesteryears, Saira Banu recently suffered a heart problem. She was admitted to the hospital for treatment.

Saira Banu's health sparked concerns on social media with many praying and wishing for her speedy recovery. In the past few years, she earned legions of admirers for the manner in which she stood by and cared for her husband Dilip Kumar who was ailing for several years before he passed away on July 7 aged 98.
