Sidharth Shukla's untimely death has hit everyone hard. He passed away at 40. Remembering the actor, here are some rare pictures of him from his modelling days. 

Sidharth Shukla was born on 12 December 1980. His father Ashok Shukla was a civil engineer employed at the Reserve Bank of India and his mother, Rita Shukla, is a homemaker.

Just like his stints in the acting career, Sidharth Shukla was a loved name in modelling. He won multiple accolades and walked the ramp for many big names.

Before he became a popular name on television, Sidharth Shukla was a loved model. 

After completing a bachelor's degree in interior design, Sidharth Shukla worked in an interior designing firm.

In 2004, Sidharth Shukla was runner-up in the Gladrags Manhunt and Megamodel Contest. A feat that boosted his modelling career.

In 2005, the Balika Vadhu star represented India at the World's Best Model contest held in Turkey. He became the first Indian, as well as the first Asian, to win the title beating 40 contestants from across Asia, Latin America, and Europe.

Not many know that Sidharth Shukla lost his father because of a lung disorder during his modelling days.
