RIP Jagdeep: Remembering veteran actor with some of his unseen pictures
Syed Ishtiaq Ahmed Jafri, known by his stage name Jagdeep, acted in over 400 films in a career spanning over six decades. He began his Bollywood journey as a child artist in B. R. Chopra's 1951 film, Afsana.
Veteran actor Jagdeep breathed his last at the age of 81 in Mumbai on July 8. "He passed away at 8.30 pm at his residence in Bandra. He was not keeping well due to age-related issues," producer Mehmood Ali, a close family friend, told PTI.
