‘PK’ completes 2 years; here are some highlights from the flick

Two years back, on December 19, 2014, Aamir Khan starrer ‘PK’ was released. The film turned out to be the highest-grossing Indian film of all time after fetching Rs 700 crore worldwide. As the movie completed its successful two years in the industry, here is the throwback for all the movie buffs.

‘PK’ again marked the collaboration of Aamir Khan, Rajkumar Hirani and Vidhu Vinod Chopra after ‘3 Idiots’. The movie dealt with the sensitive subject of religious beliefs and superstitions that created controversy during its release. However, a good film never ceases to get appreciation in Bollywood.

Aamir played the role of an alien in the flick. His performance not only received positive reviews from the critics but audience also sang his praises.

Actress Anushka Sharma got the opportunity to work alongside the superstar for the first time. Needless, to say the lady made the best use of it. She played the role of Jagat Janni who was a journalist.

Sushant Singh Rajput’s cameo in the movie was one of its highlights. The actor appeared for a short time but gave powerful performance.

A film becomes a full on entertainer only when it is supported by a talented cast. With supporting actors like Saurabh Shukla and Boman Irani, Rajkumar Hirani created magic on the silver screen.
