Union Minister and former actress Smriti Irani took to Instagram to share a new selfie of herself. Her good friend Ekta Kapoor and fans call her 'thin'

Smriti Irani is the Union Cabinet Minister for Textiles and Women and Child Development. Long before her political career, she played the role of Tulsi in Ekta Kapoor’s show. 

Smriti Irani's fans took a trip down memory lane to when she essayed the role of Tulsi Virani in the serial Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. They complimented 'getting purani tulsi back.'

Smriti was part of 'Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi' which ran for eight long years and made her a household name.

In 2000, she made her debut on television with Aatish and Hum Hain Kal Aaj Aur Kal. Smriti Irani starred in Kavita, Ramayan, Thodi Si Zameen Thoda Sa Aasmaan, Virrudh and Mere Apne among others.

Smriti also hosted the dance reality show 'Yeh Hai Jalwa'.
