Aanand L Rai's mother last rites were attended by Akshay, Huma, producer Bhushan Kumar and actor Manu Rishi among others.

Akshay Kumar's mother Aruna Bhatia passed away on Wednesday. His close friend and filmmaker Aanand L Rai's mother died on the same morning.
