Mayoori Kango left IIT Kanpur mid-way to fulfill her dream of becoming an actress. She made her Bollywood debut in 1995

The blue-eyed actress is majorly known for her appearance in the song Ghar Se Nikalte Hi opposite Jugal Hansraj.

Mayoori Kango appeared in movies like Naseem, Papa Kehte Hain, Betaabi, Hogi Pyaar Ki Jeet, Badal and Papa the Great and then switched to television

She appeared in some successful TV shows like 'Kaahin Kissii Roz', 'Kittie Party', 'Kkusum' and 'Kya Hadsaa Kya Haqeeqat'.

Post her marriage to Aditya Dhillon in 2003, she left the film industry and moved to US.  She even pursued her MBA in marketing and finance after marriage.

Mayoori then worked in USA as an associate media manager in New York City-based digital agency called 360i.

Currently, the actress has shifted her base back in India after giving birth to her son.

Settled in Gurgaon, she shuttles between Mumbai and Bengaluru for work.

Despite staying away from the showbiz industry, Mayoori calls Arshad Warsi, Gauri Pradhan and Shweta Salve her friends.
