Manoj Bajpayee's father RK Bajpayee dies at 83, funeral takes place in Delhi | PICS

Last month, Manoj had travelled to Delhi from Kerala after hearing about the critical condition of his father, who was admitted to a hospital in Delhi.

A few days back, Bajpayee's father was admitted to a hospital in the national capital. 

Earlier, a source had told Indian Express, “Manoj’s father’s condition is quite critical. After learning about his father’s health, Manoj rushed to Delhi to be by the side of his father and his family. He was shooting for his project in Kerala."

In a recent interview with ANI, Manoj had spoken about how his father pushed him to complete his studies before pursuing his passion for acting.

Director Avinash Das took to Twitter to pay his last respects. "Manoj Bhaiya's father is no more. Missing the moments spent with him. I took this picture in Bhitiharwa Ashram. He was a man of great endurance. Always kept himself away from his son's success. He was a great man," he tweeted.
