Madhubala, Ma Anand Sheela, Rakesh Sharma: Stalled biopics of famous personalities

Iconic Indian actress Madhubala's biopic is a matter of dispute within her family. Imtiaz Ali was attached to direct it but later dropped out of the project citing no clarity on its future

Priyanka Chopra Jonas was attached to play the controversial personality Ma Anand Sheela, aide of Osho, in a biopic. But there is no update on it for a couple of years now

Spaceman Rakesh Sharma's biopic has been on hold for the longest time. Its title was revealed to be Saare Jahan  Se Accha and then the casting could not be finalised

Sri Lankan spinner Muttiah Muralitharan's biopic 800 was supposed to star Vijay Sethupathi but he dropped out of it due to controversy. Since then the movie has been stalled

Raja Krishna Menon had announced the biopic on former boxing champion and Asian Games gold medalist Dingko Singh. The rights were secured by Shahid Kapoor but it has been put on hold for the time being
