It was quite a happening weekend for Bollywood. The talk of the town this weekend which went by was the trailer of Abhishek Chaubey’s ‘Udta Punjab’. The movie is all set to bring back ex flames Shahid Kapioor and Kareena Kapoor Khan, a major reason why everyone is waiting for it. The last weekend was full of happy events for B-town celebs. While some were spotted at the airport the usual trips, a few promoted their movie, some partied hard and paparazzi also caught two rumoured love-birds. Have a look

Abhishek Chaubey's 'Udta Punjab' is woven around the idea of drug abuse in Punjab. The movie stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Shahid Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Diljit Dosanjh. The trailer launch event was a happening one in which the stars spoke about the need of a movie like this and interacted with fans.

After Jab We Met, Shahid and Kareena will be seen in Udta Punjab. While Kareena plays a doctor, Shahid essays the role of a rockstar who is also a drug addict. The two former lovers shared laughs at the stage.

Alia Bhatt plays a Bihari migrant in Udta Punjab. She has time and again said that she is a Kareena Kapoor fan. Interestingly, Alia had enacted Kareena's hit swearing scene from Jab We Met when she auditioned for her first film, Student of The Year.

Actress Preity Zinta who recently got hitched to her beau Gene Goodenough attended the party of her close friend designer Manish Malhotra.
