In Pics: Actors Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Amrita Rao promote their film Thackeray in style

Actors Nawazuddin Siddiqui and his co-star Amrita Rao were on Saturday snapped by the shutterbugs as they promoted their upcoming film Thackeray.

Thackeray is a forthcoming biopic on the life of Bal Thackeray, the founder of the Indian political party Shiv Sena.

Written and directed by Abhijit Panse, the film stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the lead role.

Thackeray which is made simultaneously in Marathi and Hindi also stars Amrita Rao as wife of Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the film.

Amrita will be essaying the role of Balasaheb Thackeray‘s wife Meena Tai Thackeray in the film. Meena Tai Thackeray was also known as Maa Saheb.

Thackeray is slated to release on January 25th, 2019.
