Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus Devdas turned 19 today. The 2002 romantic drama had grabbed the attention of not only the domestic audience, but it was also well-received overseas with the viewers going gaga over the gigantic beauty. The film inspired by Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay's 1901 novel, featured Shah Rukh Khan as Devdas, Aishwarya as Paro and Madhuri Dixit as Chandramukhi. The Bhansali directorial was a cinematic marvel with revelry of dance and music, and a tragic love story splashed with myriad emotions. The movie is considered one of the most celebrated movies of Bollywood and always tops the list of iconic movies of the industry.
