Non-enjoyable school life: Amrita had done her senior secondary school from Canossa Convent Girls School, which was a very strict school. In one of her interviews she said, “I went to a strict school. Even if a button was missing here and a clip missing there, we were punished. I had to always be obedient. No masti at all for me”.

She can speak Hindi, Konkani, English and Marathi fluently.

When she was only sixteen years old, she had a crush on sports star Nayan Mongia. She said, “Oh my, I am blushing now. Ok it wasn't just me, all the girls in my gang used to like either Sachin Tendulkar or Nayan Mongia. But this was when I was 16.
