The story revolves around two estranged brothers, with Akshay Kumar playing David Fernandez and Siddharth Malhotra essaying the role of Monty Fernandez, who turn against each other. Their love turns into hatred so strong, they won't have second thoughts before killing each other. Both Akshay and Siddharth stole the show with their realistic performances. Overall,

The film revolves around an Army Officer Virat Bakshi, played by Akshay Kumar, who witnesses a bomb blast during his vacation. He later learns that a terrorist group has planned serial blasts in Mumbai in a couple of days with the help of 12 sleeper agents. Though Virat manages to kill all 12 sleeper cells, a series of mind games begin between the main villain Freddy Daruwala and Akshay Kumar. A remake of the 2012 Tamil film Thuppakki, ‘Holiday' was highly appreciated by the critics. However, the romantic angle of the film was criticised. Yet the film managed to enter the Rs. 100 crore club.

Akshay plays a fearless officer in the film who is ready to lay down his life for his country. He is smart enough to cross every hurdle that comes his way. While ‘Baby' was declared a hit in India, it was banned in Pakistan. The film was highly appreciated by the critics and also entered the Rs. 100 crore club.

The film was declared a blockbuster hit in India and had a bumper opening as it collected over Rs. 15 crores on the first day of its release. ‘Rowdy Rathore' later entered the Rs. 100 crore club as well.
